Don't Stop
Hey Annie is Song of The Day over at Popjustice. Here’s what they have to say about it:
‘Hey Annie’ is one of three Paul Epworth-produced tracks added to the final, that’s-really-it-now tracklisting for Annie’s second album, ‘Don’t Stop’. The new tracks totally change the album’s personality and this song – a brilliantly evocative number about love, dancing, and the magic moments that bring love and dancing together – is also the album opener, so it seems like a good choice for Song Of The Day. Hurrah.

Don't Stop, Reviews
For the final proper actual no-messing-around-now definitive release of Annie’s ‘Don’t Stop’ three new songs, produced by Paul Epworth, have appeared on the tracklisting.
They are called ‘Hey Annie’, ‘Don’t Stop’ and ‘I Don’t Like Your Band’.
Here are reviews of the above-mentioned songs.
‘Hey Annie’
Amazing.‘Don’t Stop’
Amazing.‘I Don’t Like Your Band’
Amazing. It strikes us as odd sometimes when people talk about websites contributing to some sort of ‘decline in music journalism’.
Nothing there that we couldn’t have guessed ourselves but at least the new tracks have the approval of Popjustice.

Don't Stop
Don’t Stop is available to pre-order now only on Amazon.com which will be released on November 17th as previously announced. The product description, though, is a paragraph of excitement and brilliance:
Dynamite sophomore release from Scandinavian pop princess Annie. Both immediately listenable & utterly beguiling, this “pop with strange edges” is mainstream & underground, all at once. Sometimes expressive, sometimes funny, but always totally fresh & utterly human. Complementing Anne Lilia Berge Strand’s pick `n’ mix, genre-hopping pincer movement are an array of handpicked associates: Don’t Stop reunites Annie with Timo Kaukolampi & Richard X, Anniemal, Paul Epworth (known for his work with Bloc Party, Primal Scream, The Rapture, Florence & the Machine), Brian Higgins (Xenomania) and Franz Ferdinand’s Alex Kapranos. It’s a twelve-course feast for the modern musical connoisseur — a frenzied, but undeniably solid proposition, an effortless & organic blend with Annie center stage.

Fantastic indie pop culture blog Wears The Trousers has just published an interview with Annie where she gives her thoughts on the Pet Shop Boys, Egyptology and DJ gender discrimination. It’s a very good read indeed!

Don't Stop
It looks like the saga of Scandinavian pop princess Annie’s sophomore album, Don’t Stop, is coming to a logical end. After announcing a tracklist more than a year ago, the record was delayed. Then the singer parted ways with Island Records. Then the album got revamped. Then a couple new singles came out.
Now, finally, Don’t Stop will be ready for mass consumption November 17, via Oslo’s Smalltown Supersound, a label known more for out-there electronics and experimental jazz than sweet and sticky pop.
Web-savvy Annie followers may recognize most of the track names (listed below) from an early version of Don’t Stop that leaked last year– though recent singles including “I Know UR Girlfriend Hates Me”, “Anthonio”, and “Two of Hearts” did not make the cut. (On the plus side, a track called “I Don’t Like Your Band” is included.) The record includes collaborations with Richard X, Timo Kaukolampi, Paul Epworth, Brian Higgins, and Franz Ferdinand’s Alex Kapranos. The new album cover, which you can see up at the top of this story, is incredible.
